Please be advised there seems to be a problem with the coaching staff over at Los Osos High School!!!!! And it all start with Bobby, he under the impression that he knows more than you and your partner, only if he is losing the ball game--He knows that you can't argue BALLS and STRIKES, but he keeps chipping and chipping.....Please note that his Profanity is unexcusable, it's F-this and F-that. Please nip this in the bud.....This guy should get a clue...He's want to try too show you up....Put this GUY on a short leash.......I'm sure I'm not the first and won't be the last.... I should have put this on friday(3/18)my bag..........  |

Sounds like there is nothing new to report on Bobby. He has not changed in years. Was the same way when he was at Damien. Remember, we as umpires have to make the game a level playing field, for both players and coaches. As Ken has indicated in general meetings and the instructors have reviewed in your individual classes, nip this type of activity right from the beginning of the game. First time it happens, you may want to remind the coach between innings. If it persists, then you give the official warning. Take out your lline up card, and note it on the reverse (this will generally prompt the coach to come out and discuss again what you had already indicated innings before). Now you have documentation of what has transpired. If it persits, DO NOT HESITATE TO EJECT. That is the only way coaches will get the message. Remember... WHAT YOU ALLOW, YOU PROMOTE! ;D

It's funny, I have Los Osos twice and had no problems with Bobby. but in both games Los Osos beat themselves. Also another look out is that their is some bad blood between Los Osos and Claremont. They were talking crap to each other and I had to shut it down. Be warned if you are doing the next Claremont/ Los Osos game.
Also I found the Claremont coaches to be worse than
Bobby Sheridan because they don't have the balls to come and talk to you. They just chip from the dugout. Do not let them do this!! One starts and then if you do not stop it they all will join in.

Ditto! I had Los Osos @ Etiwanda today(03/30/05), no problems or outburst. Though Los Osos lost the game everything went smooothly  . |

I HAD LOS OSOS IN A ONE MAN GAME. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH B. SHERIDAN. HE EVEN OFFER WATER AND SNACKS TO ME AFTER THE GAME.
